Acknowledgements

My journey would not have been possible without the support and encouragement of my family, friends, and colleagues.

To Laurier Faculty Members
Thank you for your inspiration over the past 3 years. Your dedication to ensuring the program would challenge and provoke our thinking was central to the success of each of our journeys. The learning you facilitated each and every week took great time and care. It was noticed, and so appreciated. Your critical feedback helped me grow as a learner and your ability to see my strengths and talents helped me reach my potential. Thank you!

To My Master of Education Cohort
In preparing for my capstone presentation, I felt something was missing from my narratives. That something was you! Collaborative reflection is the element which made my journey over the past 3 years as remarkable as it was. Our class discussions, weekly check-ins, online posts all prove that learning is social. I will miss our weekend meetings at local coffee shops preparing for seminars and editing papers. I know we will continue to challenge and support each other as we move forward. Thank you!
I am a better educator and a better person, because of you!

To My Mom
My mentor, my champion, my cheerleader, my sounding board.
Much of my teaching philosophy comes from a lifetime of observing you build relationships with the people in your life. You remind me that education is about recognizing the gifts and talents of children. Having the opportunity to reflect with you has helped to keep me balanced and focused on what is truly important. Thank you for your superb editing, unyielding support, and positive encouragement. I could not have navigated my way along this journey without you as my compass.

To the many others ... THANK YOU!
J.A. - Thanks for making me laugh when I needed it most. It truly was the best medicine.
SJPII staff - Thanks for allow me to share aspects of my journey with you!
P.G. - Thanks for encouraging me to apply. Your confidence in me helped me take the leap.
